This Acoustic Jamming Lesson is designed for acoustic players of all skill levels who want to improvise solos and play solid rhythm guitar on their favorite Grateful Dead songs in a casual jam setting. The idea is to adapt typical JG and BW licks to the acoustic, even on songs they didn't play acoustically--but we do!

This lesson teaches a basic rhythm pattern, plus a "Bobby-style" approach to add some extra GD flavor to your rhythm playing. You will learn three different positions for soloing, specifically chosen for acoustic guitar, with licks and examples that will give you a Jerry-esque sound without ever going above the 12th fret. The tempo of the song is slowed down just enough to let you pick up the ideas and run with them.
