This video lesson features a beautiful, four-times-around Jerry solo from 1978. You will learn an essential part of Jerry's approach to the fretboard -- seeing chord shapes and the scales that overlap with them simultaneously. You will learn several chord shapes and positions, as well as some very tasty licks -- including a few one and a half step bends!. You will also learn the importance of phrasing, with frequent pauses, like taking a breath when singing.

This lesson makes a nice companion to 10 Steps to Jerry-style Solos, where I used my own improvisations on Peggy-O to demonstrate several key improvisational concepts.
